Costa Magica
Costa Magica is the sister ship of Costa Fortuna, a new class of ship for Costa, constructed at the historic yards in Sestri Ponente where the Michelangelo, the legendary Rex and the Andrea Doria were built.
With a capacity of 2,720 passengers, Costa Magica contains a total of 1,359 cabins - 857 oceanview and 500 with large verandas. Aboard Costa Magica the theme is "fascinating places in Italy". The central pool deck will be shaped like an amphitheater and the aft pool will have a retractable magrodome roof. The wellness area will be equipped with an ultramodern gym overlooking the sea as well as a sauna and Turkish bath.
Costa Atlantica
Costa Cruises greeted its newest flagship, the Costa Atlantica for her inauguration in July 2000. The ship includes 12 decks having the name of the movies directed by the famous Italian producer, Federico Fellini. Each deck combines the elegance of European style with the American comfort. The Costa Atlantica's Caruso Theatre is an impressive three-level theatre with a capacity of 1,167 passengers.
