Antigua-et-Barbuda     Antigua et Barbuda appartiennent au groupe anglophone des îles Sous-Le-Vent qui furent appelées ainsi car elles se situent du côté "sous le vent" pour les bateaux venant d'Europe. Aujourd'hui, ce nom comporte une signification purement géographique. La capitale d'Antigua est St-John. Antigua est l'une des îles les plus développées et les plus animées des Petites Antilles Depuis des décennies, l'île est un centre de vacances et de yachting, mais elle garde son charme alangui. Barbuda, l'île voisine, se situe à 43 km au nord d'Antigua. Elle constitue un abri paisible, car faiblement peuplé, pour les animaux et les oiseaux.
